Kanji 二月 (nigatsu)
Kanji二 has another jukugo which is read in on-yomi (Chinese Reading Style). That jukugo is pronounced as ‘nigatsu’. The word consists of two kanjis. The first one is kanji二 which means two and the second kanji is kanji 月 which in on-yomi (Chinese Reading Style) is read gatsu or getsu. So, if those two kanjis were joined it will be pronounced as ‘nigatsu’ which means February.
