Kanji 四つ which is read ‘yottsu’ in Japanese Reading Style

Kanji 四つ (yottsu)

The first word which used kanji四 in the example is ‘yottsu’. It means four (things). In the example, this kanji is actually read in kun-yomi (Japanese Reading Style). The kanji itself  actually represent number 4. And as an additional information to write it down, it needs five strokes to write the kanji as whole part.
