Meaning : Yesterday, (I) bought 10 piece cakes. After dinner, I with my little sister each of us ate two piece (of cakes). It was delicious.

It is actually can be concluded from the above passage that the cake left is only six. Since each of us both ate two, so overall we ate four cakes.

Meaning : Sunglass is in a glasses which is wore usually in a day with a nice weather in the summer, but I occasionally use it in winter. It is because in Japan the wind frequently blows strongly.

From the passage we can refer that the person is occasionally wear the sunglasses in the winter where ordinary people usually use it in the summer to protect them from the sunlight there in the bright weather. But this person wear it in the winter to protect he or she from the wind blows strongly.

Romaji : Konshuu no mokuyoubi no paatii ni deru hito wa, mae no hi ni kimu-san ni 600 en haratte kudasai. Okane wo haratte paatii ni konakatta hito wa, tsugi no hi ni kimu-san ga hanbun kaeshimasu.

Meaning : Everyone who went out from the party in this week’s Thursday, please pay 600 yen to Mr. Kim the day before. For those who didn’t come to the party, Mr. Kim will give back half of your money which have been paid.


Since it is clearly informed from the passage that Mr. Kim will return half of the amount money which have been paid the day after the party to those who didn’t come to the party. So Mr. Kim, will return 300 yen in Friday.
