This is an article where we are going to use particle から and it will be combined with interrogative pronoun 何時 (なんじ) in order to produce a question asking about the time an activity has already start. In other word, なんじから (nanji kara) means from what time or since what time literally translated. The other one is a combination of interrogative pronoun 何時 (なんじ) with particle まで and on the contrary it is an interrogative pronoun used to ask about the time of an activity ends. Based on several questions given in the problem shown in Shin Nihongo no Kiso I chapter 4 practice B part 4 on page 32, we will give the answers in the article. The pattern is also a short conversation where the speaker ask a question using なんじから (nanji kara) asking about when the activity starts and also なんじまで asking about when the activity ends. Below is the pattern and also the example of the pattern :

Hiragana : しゅご ＋ は ＋なん＋じ ＋ から ＋ ですか

We have an interrogative pronoun 何時（なんじ）which is pronounced as ‘nanji’ which means what time which is also being used in the previous article.This article adds it by using an additional particle which is particle から. It is only used to ask about the time of an activity start. In addition there is also a question which is also a combination of 何時（なんじ） with particle まで and it is only used to ask about the time of an activity end. Both of the particle combination can also be joined to ask both of the start and end of an activity.
