A : Fujisan ni nobotta koto ga arimasuka.

A : Have you ever climbed Mt. Fuji ?.
B : Yes, only once, five years ago (I) have climbed Mt. Fuji.
The grammar pattern above is a display for the pattern to answer the problem set. It is a grammar pattern in the form of polite from. The pattern of the grammar is ‘-ta koto ga arimasuka’. The ‘-ta’ context in here is the past form of the verb. It is a grammar pattern which is primarily has a specific function. That main function is to ask the other person whether that person has experienced something or done something in the past. Generally, it can be useful to ask for someone’s past experience about something. In the example, a person is asking his or her counterpart of the conversation whether he or she has ever climbed Mt. Fuji. It is using the grammar pattern specified before.
