This is another article which is shown to display the usage of asking whether a person will do or is doing or have done an activity. Through chapter 6 practice B part C page 49 in Minna no Nihongo, we will give an answer based on the in an appropriate sentence on the question. There will be two type of answer, whether it is a positive answer or a negative one it depends on the question itself. The answer which is given as an example in the book is a short answer pattern. But we will also give a full answer based on the question which is given. Below is the example of the question and also the answer :
Kanji:毎週日曜日家で掃除しますか
Hiragana:まいしゅうにちようびいえでそうじしますか
Romaji:Maishuu nichiyoubi ie de souji shimasuka
Meaning:Are you clening at your house in Sunday every week ?
Since there is two types of answer which is a positive and a negative one, we will give both of the answer as an example :
Positive Answer
Kanji
Short Answer:はい、掃除します。
Full Answer:はい 毎週日曜日家で掃除します。
Hiragana
Short Answer:はい、そうじします。
Full Answer:はい、まいしゅうにちようびいえでそうじします。
Romaji
Short Answer:Hai, souji shimasu.
Full Answer:Hai, maishuu nichiyoubi ie de souji shimasu.
Meaning
Short Answer:Yes, I am cleaning
Full Answer:Yes, every week at Sunday I am cleaning at (my) house.
Negative Answer
Kanji:いいえ、掃除しません。
:いいえ、毎週日曜日家で掃除しません。
Hiragana:いいえ、そうじしません。
:いいえ、まいしゅうにちようびいえでそうじしません。
Romaji:Iie, souji shimasen.
:Iie, maishuu nichiyoubi ie de souji shimasen.
Meaning:No, I am not cleaning
: No, every week at Sunday I am not cleaning at (my) house.

Kanji:いいえ、飲みません
:いいえ、お酒を飲みません
Hiragana:いいえ、のみません。
:いいえ、おさけをのみません。
Romaji:Iie, nomimasen.
:Iie, osake wo nomimasen.
Meaning:No, I am not drinking.
:No, I am not drinking sake.
２．Answer
Kanji:はい、勉強します。
:はい、明日日本語を勉強します。
Hiragana:はい、べんきょうします。
:はい、あしたにほんごをべんきょうします。
Romaji:Hai, benkyou shimasu.
:Hai, ashita nihongo wo benkyou shimasu.
Meaning:Yes, I will study.
:Yes, I will study Japanese tomorrow.
３．Answer
Kanji:はい、読みました。
:はい、今朝新聞を読みました。
Hiragana:はい、よみました。
:はい、けさしんぶんをよみました。
Romaji:Hai, yomimashita.
:Hai, kesa shinbun wo yomimashita.
Meaning:Yes, I read.
:Yes, I read a newspaper this morning.

Kanji:いいえ、見ませんでした。
:いいえ、昨日の晩テレビを見ませんでした。
Hiragana:いいえ、みませんでした。
:いいえ、きのうのばんテレビをみませんでした。
Romaji:Iie, mimasendeshita.
:Iie, kinou no ban terebi wo mimasendeshita.
Meaning:No, I didn’t watch.
:No, yesterday night I didn’t watch television.
