Japanese Language Lesson Minna no Nihongo 1 Chapter 10 Section B Part 4
In this article, using the right preposition in creating a sentence for answering the question is also being tested through the question displayed in Minna no Nihongo 1 book chapter 10 Section B Part 4 in page 84. The question consists of vocabularies given along with the images to answer the question correctly. Several images is presented depicting an object which is located in a certain place or location which can be viewed relative to another object. Based on the relativity of a subject’s location compared to the other subject, answer in form of a sentence can be made.

Kanji :
男の子は どこに いますか。

Hiragana :
おとこのこは どこに いますか。
。。。ドアの うしろに います。
Romaji :
Otoko no ko wa doko ni imasuka。
… doa no ushiro ni imasu.
Meaning :
Where is the boy ?。
。。。He is behind the door。

Kanji :
自転車は どこに ありますか。
。。。車の 上に あります。
Hiragana :
じてんしゃは どこに ありますか。
。。。くるまの うえに あります。
Romaji :
Jitensha wa doko ni arimasuka ?。
。。。kuruma no ue ni arimasu。
Meaning :
Where is the bicycle ?。
。。。It is on (top) of the car。

。。。男の人と女人の間に います。
Hiragana :

Romaji :
Inu ga doko ni imasuka。

Meaning :
Where is the dog ?。
。。。The dog is between the man and the woman。

Hiragana :

Romaji :
Shashin wa doko ni arimasuka。

Meaning :
Where is the photograph ?。
。。。It is under the book。
