Japanese Language Book Shin Nihongo no Kiso 1 Chapter 11 Section C Part 2 in Page 91

The article is another series of an article for answering specific type of question in Shin Nihongo no Kiso I book. In this article, the question exist exist along with the answer pattern exist below. The question itself is available in Chapter 11 Section C Part 2 in page 91.  For the answer pattern for answering the problem, it is actually using a jyosuushi or a counter for human. Since the object is a human.  Just use the example pattern in order to answer the question. There is a pattern of a conversation as the main problem below. Just change the conversation according to the question given with the answer option available as part of the problem. The following is that grammar pattern :

Pattern :

Kanji : 数・数字

 

助数詞

Hiragana : しゅう・すうじ

 

じょすうし

 

。。。
Romaji : shuu・suuji josuushi 。。。
Meaning : number

Below is an example of the conversation for answering the question :

Kanji :

A :今、教室で 何人 いますか。

B : 先生とわたしとみんな 30人います。

Hiragana :

A :いま、きょうしつで なんにん いますか。

B : せんせいとわたしとみんな さんじゅうにんいます。

Romaji :

A :Ima, kyoushitsu de nan nin imasuka。

B : Sensei to watashi to minna sanjyu nin imasu。

Meaning :

A : Right now, how many people in the class room ?。

B : (Our) teacher, me and every one all of them will be 30 people。

So, using the above pattern where there is a counter suffix for describing people with a number followed by ‘nin’, just answer the question. The counter suffix  for people is using ‘nin’ for the number in general. But for several number for describing people ‘nin’ is not necessary. For an example, in order to say one person, the pronunciation will he ‘hitori’  The following is the answer sheet of the problems or questions exist in Shin Nihongo no Kiso I Chapter 11 Section C Part 2 in page 91 :

  1. Kanji :A : 家族は 何人ですか。B :5人です。

    家内と 子どもが 3人 います。

     

    Hiragana :

    A : かぞくは なんにんですか。

    B :ごにんです。

    かないと こどもが さんにん います。

     

    Romaji :

    A : Kazoku wa nan nin desuka。

    B : Go nin desu。

    Kanai to kodomo ga san nin imasu。

     

    Meaning :

    A : How many person is in (your) family ?。

    B : Five person。

    There are my wife and three of my children。

     

  2. Kanji :A : 家族は 何人ですか。B :3人です。

    家内と 子どもが 1人 います。

     

    Hiragana :

    A : かぞくは なんにんですか。

    B :さんにんです。

    かないと こどもが ひとり います。

     

    Romaji :

    A : Kazoku wa nan nin desuka。

    B : San nin desu。

    Kanai to kodomo ga hitori imasu。

     

    Meaning :

    A : How many person is in (your) family ?。

    B : Three person。

    There are my wife and my one and only child。

     

  3. Kanji :A : 家族は 何人ですか。B :6人です。

    家内と 子どもが 4人 います。

     

    Hiragana :

    A : かぞくは なんにんですか。

    B :ろくにんです。

    かないと こどもが よにん います。

     

    Romaji :

    A : Kazoku wa nan nin desuka。

    B : Roku nin desu。

    Kanai to kodomo ga yonin imasu。

     

    Meaning :

    A : How many person is in (your) family ?。

    B : Six person。

    There are my wife and my four children。

     

Basically, those are the possible answers for the questions sheets where it is available in Shin Nihongo no Kiso I Chapter 11 Section C Part 2 in page 91.
