So, using the above pattern where there is a counter suffix with a number as an additional information to the duration of the period where the activity occurs, just answer the question. The counter suffix for describing the period of time for the activities can be different from one another. Hiragana :
まいばん なんじかん べんきょうしますか。

Romaji :
Maiban nanjikan benkyou shimasuka.
… 3 jikan benkyou shimasu.
Meaning :
Every night, how many hours do (you) study ?.
… (I) study for 3 hours (every night).
- Kanji :うちから 会社まで どのくらい かかりますか。。。。30分ぐらいかかます。
Hiragana :
うちから かいしゃまで どのくらい かかりますか。
。。。３０ぷんぐらいかかります。
Romaji :
Uchi kara kaisha made dono kurai kakarimasuka.
… 30 pun gurai kakarimasu.
Meaning :
How long does it take from home to the office ?.
… It is around 30 minutes.
- Kanji :工場で どのくらい 実習しますか。。。。６か月ぐらい 実習します。
Hiragana :
こうじょうで どのくらい じっしゅうしますか。
。。。６かげつぐらい じっしゅうします。
Romaji :
Koujyou de dono kurai jisshuu shimasuka.

Meaning :
How long do you train at the factory ?.

- Kanji :京都に 何日 いますか。。。。1日だけ京都に います。
Hiragana :
きょうとに なんにち いますか。

Romaji :
Kyouto ni nan nichi imasuka.
… 1 nichi dake kyouto ni imasu.
Meaning :
How many days are you in Kyoto ?
… I am in Kyoto for only 1 days.
