What is the rule for modifying the statement ?. First of all, just look at the image given along with the problems. It contains one image for one question. It is describing the number of the item mentioned in the question. So, modify the question by adding the number of the item mentioned in the question. There is a rule for modifying the question. Add a counter number for the associated item. In Japanese language grammar, 助数詞 [じょすうし] or counter for each item is different with one another. The following is the grammar pattern for it :

Kanji : 名詞 数・数字「助数詞」 。。。
Hiragana : めいし かず・すうじ「じょすうし」 。。。
Romaji : meishi wa kazu・suuji [jyosuushi] 。。。
Answer : noun nin total number・number [counter number] 。。。
Meaning : An item (noun) of (number) …

Example :

Kanji :

Hiragana :

きょうがっこうへえんぴつをさんぼんもってきます。

Romaji :

Kyou gakkou e enpitsu wo sanbon motte kimasu.
