This is an article where the main focus is to discuss about answering the problems in the Shin Nihongo no Kiso I book. Actually, the question sheet is in Chapter 10 Section B Part 4 in page 82. The problem set exist with an additional information of an image. In that image, there are several buildings and places. According to the image, answer all the questions for asking the location of specific buildings and places. Furthermore, there will also question asking the existence of living or non-living thing in that building or place. The following is the grammar pattern for informing the location of the existence of a thing and also the possible answer for it :

The example above is showing a pair of question and answer for informing the location of a place. The suffix for informing the existence is ‘aru’ or ‘arimasu’ for the polite form. The question above is an example for asking where is the location of the museum. It exist near the hospital as an answer. Another example exist as follows :

The pattern above is an example for informing the existence of a living thing in a certain place. In the example above, it asks if a surgeon exist in the hospital. So, the question’s purpose is to ask the existence of the surgeon in a certain place which in this context, it is a hospital.
